We proudly present the Grand Junction Fire Department’s 2009 Annual Report. Inside you will find a snapshot of our many accomplishments along with a few challenges that we faced during the year.
Calls for service remained high at 13,031 incidents, a slight decrease from 2008. We are pleased to see a reduction in response times, with fire responses averaging below 9 minutes and EMS below 7.5 minutes. Included in total incidents were 11,288 EMS calls and 1,743 fire calls resulting in a total fire loss of $2,992,645.
