Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
CDBG is a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program that provides federal dollars to our community. Its purpose is to develop viable communities by providing decent housing and a suitable living environment, and by expanding economic opportunities, principally for persons of low and mederate income. For over 15 years, CDBG grants have funded valuable community services and helped improve living conditions in Grand Junction.
