Food/Beverage Concessionaire Information
All concessionaires must be on the 2012 approved list to vend at a City of Grand Junction facility. Getting on the approved concessionaire list is easy! Just follow these few basic steps and enjoy year long access to events and programs held in City of Grand Junction facilities and parks.
1. Review the Statement of Qualifications form and decide if you are a "Basic" or "Expanded" concessionaire.
Basic Concessionaire - "Basic" food category is defined as pre-packaged non refrigerated food products from a manufacturer, or licensed commercial vendor only (i.e. Sam's Club, City Market, Walmart, etc. or direct from a manufacturer). The "Basic" category does not require a Mesa County Health Department License.
Expanded Concessionaire - "Expanded" food category is defined as food otherwise prepared or served in personal kitchens or on-site that hold current Mesa County Health Department Licenses. 2. Fill out the simple Statement of Qualifications form and submit it to the City Clerks office located in City Hall. Make sure to include a photo of your booth/mobile unit, copy of Mesa County Health Department license if applicable, copy of sales tax license, and a copy of your menu. 3. If all qualifications are satisfied, you will be added to the 2012 concessionaire list.
4. Event organizers will contact you directly to arrange for concessions services.
5. Follow a few simple guidelines and enjoy offering concessions all year long!
6. Use the Concessionaire Payment Form to calculate and submit your percent to the City of Grand Junction.
